Night and Day

Half of her is in the night under the stars, and half is in the day.

Half the face is in the night, under a blue hood full of yellow stars, and the other half is in the day, in warm colors. A small star at the chin joins the two.

A plate that holds two times of day in one face, in a style inspired by Cubism.

Two Faces in One

Porcelain plates in a style inspired by Cubism, the art that led Picasso to paint a face from two angles at once. Maysoun softens this style with calm colors and adds symbols from her own world: fish, stars, flowers and birds. Six plates, 20 cm across, each face with its own character. Each plate is sold on its own.
