Maysoun Al-Ajjan

Quiet art, honest colors.

Porcelain plates and ceramic panels, painted by Maysoun by hand. Every piece is sold on its own.

Honest colors

Never too bright, never dull

Maysoun chooses calm, true colors that are easy on the eye and suit a home. She paints every piece by hand, then fires it in five stages until its colors are fixed.

The walls

Six walls, and every piece is sold on its own

We show the works on walls so you can see how they look in a home, but every piece is sold on its own, with its own page and story.

How a piece is born

Her hand, then fire, then gold

  1. Her hand

Maysoun paints every piece by hand with porcelain colors.

  2. Fire

The piece goes into the kiln in five stages, between 650 and 750 °C, and its colors become fixed.

  3. Gold

Gold is painted last, cold, on the rims and frames.
